Let’s start by telling a story that Jesus tells in the book of Luke
Jesus tells the story about a rich man and a poor man.
Jesus tells us a story about a rich man who died and went to hell and a poor man who died and went to heaven. The rich man was so overwhelmed at where he ended up but when he looked up he was able to see the poor man who was always begging in front of his house who was now in a better place! So he now begged that the poor man would go back to earth and tell all his brothers that it is all real so they can prepare for eternity and not end up in Hell like him. (book of Luke, chapter 16).
In this story, Jesus wants us all to know that there is a Heaven and Hell. Jesus instructs us to tell each other about the Kingdom of God. But when Christians are all in Heaven, who is going to tell brothers, sisters, moms, dads, and friends the truth? This Lazarus Scroll is your opportunity to tell those you love about God and His gospel when you are gone!
